Tight for Night

That is certainly a big pile of chicken.  Because, of course, I wanted to spend my evening moving each chick one by one inside their coop.  While I appreciate that snuggling up on a cool evening is lovely, I am equally sure that there is a ravenous neighbourhood raccoon somewhere that is just biding his time before he can enjoy himself some juicy meat bird, so into the coop they go to be locked up tight for night.  Silly birdies.  It's bed time.

Update:

It is a good thing they all went inside eventually because something did try to get at them overnight! Oh my!
