Our return to normal here at Gael Glen Farm went about as expected. All the buses stopped to pick up the boys for school, so that was our first hurdle overcome.
Ian and I remembered how to log on to our work computers and we reconnected with our teams. I went for a lunchtime walk to reorient myself with the special path and the covered bridge loop (our local walking trails) with a stop at our local free little library. It was lovely to reconnect with some of our neighbours and get the community update.
We made bread dough in our trusty Kitchen Aid mixer (I missed this old friend as much as I missed my oven!), went grocery shopping, and stopped in for dinner at Grandma’s.
On the whole, it was a low key day to ease back into life at home. One more day until the weekend!
