Jet Engines & Speeding Bullets

Today was another beautiful day at the cottage. While the big boys enjoyed racing like jet engines through the ice cold sprinkler, it was too hot outside for Ali.

Alistair was much happier playing inside in the air conditioning. Spoiled baby. Today we practiced our Superman soar. Ali loved flying faster than a speeding bullet.

After another wonderful family day, we sadly said goodbye to Papa, Charlotte and Emily who all headed back to the farm. It is back to work for Ian, in addition to being on both animal and garden duty. Charlotte and Emily are tasked with keeping Ian from getting too lonesome while the boys and I remain at the cottage with Grandma for the next two weeks.  The boys start swimming lessons in the river tomorrow morning (there are no local city pools) which should be interesting given Seamus’ fear of seaweed. Stay turned for more cottage adventures with intermittent farm updates.

Happy Canada Day everyone!
