We celebrated Ian with a special meal of Grandma Cora's famous mango salsa and cheese platter, Ian's smoked short ribs and my johnny cake, and Grandma Susan's old fashioned peach dumplings with caramel sauce.
Ian also received several heartfelt birthday wishes from friends and family, handmade cards and paintings from the boys, and homegrown garlic from a thoughtful neighbour.
We hope you had a great birthday Papa! We appreciate all that you do for us and the joy and love you bring to our farm and family.
