Charlie's New BFF

We had a very fun and super productive morning in the barnyard thanks to a visit from our neighbours Ms. Kerry, Clara and Jack.

They helped us muck the barns and move all the sticks from my fruit tree pruning into a burn pile.

Always wanting to be the center of attention, Charlie requested some lovin'.  To her delight, Clara was more than happy to oblige.  Clara brushed Charlie for close to an hour.

Even Alistair was involved in the action.  He had his first visit with Charlie where he was not buried inside my coat.

Alistair also got plenty of lovin'.

Heaps of fun was had by all - including the goats who got loose and chased the kids up the play structure.

Liam and Seamus were quite the sight at the conclusion of the play date. Winter coats had been discarded, overalls and snow pants were falling off but oddly, their huge fur hats were still intact. Go figure.

Today was truly fun on the farm.  This is why we do what we do.
