Giant Carrots for the Win

Today was another epic day in the garden.  After focusing on tomatoes yesterday, today we harvested eggplants, radishes, beans, beets and carrots.  So, so many carrots and some were truly enormous!

We built a mountain of carrots.

The chickens and sheep love harvest days because they get all the scraps!

After a hard day's work, the boys were more than ready for bed this evening.  

Tucked in all cosy and warm.

After sleeping on a mattress on the floor for the past two weeks - after he took apart his bed and it could not be put back together - tonight Seamus got to bed down on his newly assembled bunk bed.  He and Daddy worked all day to put this monster together and Seamus was very excited for his first sleep way up high on the top bunk!

We have been very clear that under no circumstances is Seamus to take this bed frame apart.  Eye roll.
