Growing ALL the Berries

One of our ongoing projects here at Gael Glen Farm is to build a food forest into our homestead. We started with fruit and nut trees and have since planted many, many different types of edible berries. They are all in different stages of development right now.  It is exciting to anticipate how many of each type we will actually get to eat before the birds, chipmunks and squirrels find them.

Red, Black and Yellow Raspberries

Black and Red Currants

Blueberries

Gooseberries

Strawberries

Mulberries

Elderberries

I want to grow ALL THE BERRIES!  Do you think cranberries would grow in my pond?  I should look into that...
