A Goat Play Yard

We started the day by trying to weed our box gardens.  Even with Seamus, Martha and Mellie helping, it was a no go.  The ground is still frozen solid.

So, we finished constructing our cold frames.  Hopefully this will resolve the above problem in a few days time.

Then we were stuck.  What do you do when all your outside plans are foiled by a very uncooperative Mother Nature?  You build a play yard for your goats, of course.

 Martha and Mellie were so enthusiastic about this project that they insisted on helping.

They then spent the afternoon racing like crazy beasts around the play yard and playing king of the castle.  Not a great day to be a gardener but an excellent day to be a goat!
