Mice & Mist

For a farmer who does not like anything spooky, I am a bit worried that my animals are getting a little too into Halloween this year.  First, I reached into Charlie's oats container only to find a squirmy, very alive, mouse scurrying around in there! Yikes!

I then headed out for evening chores in the eeriest fog ever to envelope Gael Glen Farm.  The sheep were huddled together and could not get into their safe, dry barn fast enough.  Who knows what creepiness was lurking out there in the mist?

On the bright side, I came back inside to a piece of leftover peony cheesecake with cranberry sauce waiting for me.  Thanksgiving leftovers are the best (and thankfully not spooky at all)!
