Two Kinds of Spring

With the blooming of our first flowers and the emergence of beautiful rosy buds on our Horse Chestnut tree, I think it is finally safe to say that spring has sprung at Gael Glen Farm.

Seamus and I also worked on another kind of spring today, the kind sourdough bread makes when it rises properly during baking.

Loaf 1: Multi-grain sourdough.
Ian roasted a squash this morning and requested a squash bread.  We were happy to oblige.

Loaf 2: Sourdough Squash Bread.

Our Sourdough Squash Bread accompanied tonight's dinner of wild turkey soup perfectly.

Just call us Gael Glen Artisan Bakery - haha.
