Show Me Your Buns and Booch

Today on Gael Glen Farm we restocked the fridge, cellar, and breadbox.  We made:

Sourdough buns.
Kombucha
Homemade bread.
Plain yogurt.
After all that, it was time for a quick and easy supper....

Goose Sloppy Joes.


We used ground goose meat, our canned tomato sauce, veggies, and homemade Sloppy Joe seasoning.

Seasoning:
3 Tbsp brown sugar
1 Tbsp paprika
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1 Tbsp mustard
2 1/2 Tbsp vinegar

Add a side of carrots and celery and viola!  This gave us just enough energy to cover our gardens and relocate our plants inside in anticipation of tomorrow morning's cold temperatures (a chilly 3 degrees C).



The boys are in bed, the dogs and the baby chicks are sleeping - I want to go to bed too.  

She's a tummy sleeper.
If only Charlie would go into the barn voluntarily before dark.  Alas, that is never going to happen.

Who me?
Maybe I will just take an evening nap?  Is that a thing?
