Tunnel Trekkers

The lovely town of Brockville provided today's entertainment.  We stopped in there on our way to visit GG to take in the Brockville Tunnel - the oldest railway tunnel in Canada.  The boys very much enjoyed the dripping ground water and all of the mineral formations on the ceiling and walls of the tunnel.

They were also happy to visit the town's caboose and see both the Fair Jeanne and Black Jack docked in the city's harbour. They are hopeful to one day follow in their mama's footsteps and become tallship sea cadets themselves.

In the meantime, they are happy to be tunnel explorers and mama's best helpers - both very important jobs in their own right.

Even with all these distractions, we did manage to make it to Kingston to visit GG.  What fun!
