Preservation Station

Alistair and I worked very hard in the kitchen today.   We started off by baking our most gorgeous loaf of bread yet. 


Our canning tally so far is 19 jars of apple sauce, 10 jars of stewed peaches, and 6 jars of apple butter. 





We also harvested our rose hips and dehydrated them alongside some peach and apple slices.  The rose hips are for tea, while the peach and apple chips make great snacks.



Winter we are going to be ready for you!
