Happy Sunday Funday

There is lots of sun and fun going on here at Gael Glen Farm today.

Alistair is in an excellent mood, despite having munched on a crayon and making a mess of himself during breakfast.  For anyone needing baby giggles, this one's for you!

Liam and Seamus woke up with their "working pants" on.  They were extremely helpful all day.  Believe it or not, this is not always the case.  Haha.

Seamus got busy first thing in the morning pruning last year's hops vines.

Once the day warmed up, we collected maple sap.  Liam was most helpful.  He was so excited to look in the buckets to see how full they were.

We finished boiling, straining and bottling our first batch of syrup.

Look at our haul!

We planted our first batch of cruciferous vegetable seeds (broccoli, cauliflower and cabbage) and some thyme.

And if all that does not sound like fun to you - our first (indoor) crocus bloomed today.  That is guaranteed to make you smile!

Happy Sunday Funday everyone!
