Jackpot!

With the chilly weather sticking around after yesterday's storm and snow still on the ground, we decided to forego yard work today and head off on a family hike instead.  We took the short drive to the Morris Island Conservation Area near Fitzroy Harbour.  This 8 km hike boasted four short looped trails, many, many look out points and even a fishing platform - something for everyone.  Jackpot!

We did not catch any fish and our fingers nearly froze while we ate our picnic lunch, but except for that it was an awesome day.  We thoroughly tired everyone out and all members of the family (except me, of course, but including Ian, lol) were fast asleep by 7 pm.  I repeat, jackpot.  Mama for the win.
