This Wednesday January 15th Gael Glen Farm is hosting a farmstead day during the school strike. School aged children are welcome. Drop off is at 8 am and pick up by 4:30 pm. Lunch and snacks will be provided.
Agenda and Meals
8 - 9 am Drop off and indoor play time.
9 - 10:30 am Visits with the farm animals (feeding & watering, milking goats, collecting eggs, petting and animal snuggles).
10:45 am Snack: homemade goat milk yogurt drizzled with Gael Glen Farm honey, apple and banana slices.
11 am - noon Crafts and cookie baking.
noon Lunch: indoor picnic featuring fresh fruit and vegetables, ham and cheese cubes, homemade artisan bread, pickles, homemade cookies.
12:30 - 2 pm Quiet indoor play, reading or nap time.
2 - 3 pm Outdoor play (goat tag, play structure, chicken treats, etc.)
3 pm Snack: homemade muffins, goat milk hot chocolate, grapes and orange slices
3:15 - 4:30 pm Indoor play time and pick up.
