We are feeling especially grateful today. One of our new egg plan customers moonlights as Mother Nature at a local greenhouse. Today she gifted us with three huge bins of greens that were deemed too far past prime to go to market. Apparently nobody told the farm animals (I didn't!) and they readily devoured them. Devoured. Like they had never seen greens before. Lettuce greens must taste a whole lot better than grass - just saying. It was truly a sight. Many, many thanks Kim for your generosity from the bottom of all of our goat, sheep, chicken, duck, turkey, and human hearts.
P.S. Ava did not eat her allotment of greens. Instead she peed on her pile and then proceeded to guard it from the goats. She is such a weirdo.
