Another day, another 275L of sap. Thirteen pails full to the brim! Unluckily for me, I was sap collecting with just Liam who is still much too small to carry these huge pails when they are full. It took me over two hours to lug all these monsters out of the forest. Whoever thought it would be a good idea to collect water from a bunch of trees and then haul it around in the forest for fun?! I must be nuts. I am going to need a warm bath and a hot cup of tea after this adventure. In the meantime, I have delegated this boiling session to Ian. It's only fair since I did all the lugging.
