We’re off! Adventure awaits!
After a mad evening and early morning of preparation, we finally managed to leave the farm in our rear view mirror. We’re off to Gaspesie for summer vacation!
A stop at St Viateur for Montreal-style bagels got us ready for the long drive to our first campsite at La Maurice National Park north of Quebec City.
Fun stops for stretches and snacks at the Gilles Villneuve museum and le Trou du Diable craft brewery.
Thirteen dollar steak and corn on the cob roasted over an open campfire for supper.
It was an excellent first day.
