A Meleagris Gallopavo f. Domestica With a Death Wish

Spring is busy here on Gael Glen Farm at the best of times but when your lady turkey decides to "explore" beyond the chicken run only to get caught by Ava and have all her feathers ripped out, it makes for an especially interesting evening. Luckily I noticed the goings on before Lady Augusta was seriously maimed but sadly, her dignity was sorely compromised and will continue to be until she can grow back the hundreds of turkey feathers that now litter Ava's paddock. Until then we will have one naked lady turkey who hopefully learned a valuable life lesson about the consequences of hopping the fence into greener (and much more dangerous) pastures.
