Cobbler's Path to Torbay Point

We were up early this is morning for a very, very rainy day hike. No complaints though - it was warm and foggy and wonderful. The trail smelled of spruce tree and ocean breeze. We walked to the sound of waves crashing, rain drops falling, and seabirds calling. It was magical to be the only people in the world today experiencing this little (somewhat soggy) slice of heaven. I am grateful to be here.

We explored a dilapidated Cold War communication outpost.

We also found a hatch from one of the world wars - I felt like we were in Lost!

Even though there were no ocean views to be had today (thank you fog), the hike was still totally worth it. I am soaked down to my underwear!
