A Barrowful of Squash

Today did not exactly go as planned but I did manage to squeeze in an epic squash and turnip harvest. After our first hard frost last night, it was time.

With everything edible out of the chicken run garden, the hens were once again permitted access. They did a fantastic job at cleaning up all of the old tomatoes!

A barrow full of squash is not too shabby!

As the sun sets on a very, very challenging September, I am looking forward to a more manageable October. Onwards and upwards!
