Today was Liam's 9th birthday. We will be celebrating with a party on Sunday but Liam was very excited by the idea of a store-bought cake (a novelty in a household of homemade birthday cakes, I suppose). And each boy needed to have their own chance to blow out the candle. AND they each needed to have Happy Birthday sung to them while doing so. Sigh. Luckily Liam is a good sport and was very patient with his younger brothers...as long as he got to eat the rose. #memories #icing #yum
