Spring is always a super busy time here on Gael Glen Farm and this weekend was no exception. We worked from sun up to supper time - ploughing, planting, hardening off, watering, weeding, etc. Busy, busy times.

Our head lettuce starts are in the ground. |
 |
Onions and leeks in and the first planting of broccoli, cabbage and kale are in! |
 |
Hardening off the second planting of cruciferous and a tray of marigolds. |
By supper, it was time to take a page out of my dad's playbook and sit back to enjoy the late afternoon sunshine and a well deserved beverage. In our case it was homebrewed passionfruit kombucha (Alistair drank most of the bottle) but it was the thought that counts.
