This morning's CSA basket preparations were done to a symphony of raindrops, bird chirps, and Fitz's early morning crows. It was delightful albeit a little soggy.
This week's baskets include: a spring cabbage, broccoli leaves, rhubarb, sorrel, kale, asparagus, scallions, radishes and young radish greens, lovage, garlic chives, apple mint, parsley, sage, oregano, dill, marjoram, thyme, baby head lettuce, daikon microgreens, wasabi mustard microgreens, red clover microgreens, and a dozen farm fresh eggs. The special items this week are fresh baked bread made with butterfly pea flowers and lavender from our farm and a jar of this spring's maple syrup.
