A Sunrise Farewell

We were up at 5am this morning to make sure we were in position to catch the sunrise over the sea. We had to navigate the first part of the hike by phone flashlight but it was worth it!

After the hike I had a wonderful send off with Gordon cutting his walk short to come home and say goodbye and Maureen driving me to the airport. I am grateful for the past week. I had an incredible visit. I hope it won’t be 13 more years until I come back!

I am now headed back home to see my munchkins whom I missed very much. I wonder how Gus Gus is doing sitting on her eggs?!
