We have finished putting together beautiful packages of holiday cheer for our neighbours. The boys will deliver these tomorrow to reinforce the idea of Christmas as a time for giving. They are very excited to play Santa in our neighbourhood. I am hoping that the joy of giving really resonates (and sticks) before they experience the joy of getting on Saturday. It's the most wonderful time of the year!
P.S. Liam told me today that while he would prefer to receive presents on Christmas, if Santa does decide to bring him coal he is going to host a big family BBQ. He asked me to buy hot dogs at the grocery store just in case.
P.P.S. Liam will not be getting coal but he could be nicer to his little brothers.
